Shopping Before Christmas Day If Target Is Closed

The simplest option is to shop on the day before Christmas Day. Many people find that the last open day before the holiday is the best time to pick up gifts, food, and other items they still need. Going earlier in the day can also help you avoid crowds.

You can also plan to shop on the day after the holiday, which can be useful for returns, exchanges, or items you did not need right away. Keep in mind that hours on the days around the holiday may be shorter than usual.

On the holiday itself, some grocery stores, pharmacies, and convenience stores may be open in many areas. It helps to check ahead, because opening times vary by location and by what you need.
