Is FedEx Open on Presidents' Day?

FedEx is open at some locations on Presidents' Day, but hours vary by location. Each store can set its own schedule, so the store near you may not follow the same pattern as another store. Overall status for the holiday: varies.

If you are planning to drop off or pick up a package, treat the day as a possible change from a normal weekday. It helps to confirm the hours for your exact location before you leave home. A quick check can save you a wasted trip and keep your plans on track.

Checking Your FedEx Before Presidents' Day

Hours differ by location because many FedEx stores are run by independent operators, often called franchisees. Each operator sets its own schedule for holidays, staffing and service. That means a store in one town may keep different hours from a store a short drive away.

The most reliable way to check one store is to start with the store locator on the company's holiday hours page. Enter your address or ZIP code, then open the listing for the exact location you plan to use. Look at its holiday hours before you rely on them.

The app can also help. It lets you find nearby locations and view their current hours. A phone call is still the best check when timing matters, so ask the staff whether the location will be open on the holiday and when it closes.

If your chosen store is closed or has limited hours, consider a nearby location instead. Plan drop-offs for earlier in the week when possible. That gives you room if plans change.
