Is FedEx Open on Christmas Eve 2026?

Is FedEx Open on Christmas Eve?

FedEx is open on Christmas Eve at some locations, but there is no single answer for every store. Hours are set by each location, so one town may differ from the next. The hours status for the day reads varies. This applies to the 2026 holiday season.

For planning, treat Christmas Eve as a day to check, not a day to assume. Confirm your nearest location before you leave home, especially if you have a package to drop off or a shipment that must go out that day.

FedEx Christmas Eve Hours

Checking Your FedEx Before Christmas Eve

Hours differ because not every location is run the same way. Some shipping stores are franchised or independently run, so the owner can set a schedule that fits the local area.

To check one store, start with the store locator on the company's official website. Enter your address or ZIP code, then open the listing for the store you plan to use and read its holiday hours.

The FedEx app offers the same kind of lookup on your phone, which helps if you are already out. If the listing does not clearly show Christmas Eve hours, call the store directly. Staff can confirm whether it is open and whether it takes drop-offs that day.

Common Questions

Do All FedEx Locations Have the Same Christmas Eve Hours?

No. Hours vary by location, so the store down the street may not match the one across town. Check the specific store you plan to use.

Can I Drop Off a Package on Christmas Eve?

That depends on the location. Call the store before you go to ask whether it accepts drop-offs that day, and plan a backup if the answer is no.

How Do I Find Out Quickly If My Store Is Open?

Use the store locator or the FedEx app to open the listing for your store. If the listing is unclear, a phone call is the surest way to confirm.

What Should I Do If I Cannot Find Hours for My Store?

Call the store or check the company's website. It is wise to sort this out before the holiday week rather than on the day itself.
