Checking Your Hy-Vee Before New Year's Day

Hours on a holiday depend on the store. Many Hy-Vee stores are run by franchise owners or independent operators, so each one sets its own holiday schedule. Hy-Vee's central offices do not set one hours schedule for every location.

It helps to check one store directly. Start with the company's store locator on its holiday hours page, then find the store you want and read its listed hours for the holiday. The Hy-Vee app also shows store details, and you can use it to confirm the hours for your nearest location.

If the listing does not answer your question, call the store. Ask whether it will be open on New Year's Day and when it closes. Staff at the store can tell you about its plans for the day.
