Shopping Before New Year's Day If Salvation Army Is Closed

The day before or after the holiday is often the best time to handle errands you would have done on the day itself. Stores may be busier and may close earlier than usual, so plan ahead. Consider writing a list so you can make one trip.

Look for a store that posts its own holiday hours, since hours differ from one business to the next. Checking that page before you leave home can save you a wasted trip.
