Shopping Before Christmas Day If Whole Foods Is Closed

Shopping the day before Christmas Day is often the easiest option. Stock up on fresh items, pantry staples and anything you need for the holiday meal. Leave extra time, since stores may be busier than usual.

If the day before does not fit your schedule, consider shopping the day after. Many people use that time to restock. Store hours can vary, so check before you go.

On the holiday itself, a few types of stores are often open, such as some convenience stores and gas stations. Call ahead or check the store's own page to confirm before you head out.
